Lacy Shawl

As I was rummaging through my yarn stash, I came across 1 full and 2 partial balls of black DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk. I love working with this soft and delicate yarn, so I chose it for my next stash-buster project. Unfortunately, it was not enough yarn for a sweater; however, I thought that the amount I had would work for a lacy shawl that could be sized as needed. Marisa Hernandez's Easy as Pie Shawl fit this criteria perfectly. It is a pattern for a top-down triangular shawl that uses the same four-row repeat until a zigzag edging. I liked the simplicity of this pattern and it was truly easy to knit. (For me it was even easier than a pie, as I have never made a pie before. 😊) I love how this shawl turned out. It looks so elegant in the black DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk.
