Reversible Hat and Cowl Set

I had a hank of Knit Picks Stroll Tonal Raven, a soft hand-painted superwash merino-nylon blend fingering yarn, in my stash. I was so in love with its rich purple-black colorway variegated with jewel-toned highlights that I was saving it for the "right" project. Finally, the Reversible Hat + Cowl pattern by Purl Soho looked like the perfect project for it. It is a seamless combination of two hats or cowls knitted in simple stockinette stitch, which allows the variegation of the Raven to really show. For the other side of the hat and the cowl I used Yarn Bee Authentic Hand-Dyed Tonal, a 100% superwash merino wool with a similar gauge. The shade is called Lavender Dusk. I think it nicely brings out the mulberry tone in the Raven. I really like how the set turned out. It is very warm but still light and soft.
