"Just Like Jean-Luc" Sweater

My latest knitting project, Just Like Jean-Luc, was inspired by the sweater Jean-Luc Picard wore in Episode 2 of the Star Trek: Picard TV series and was designed by Francesca Caricato. It is a seamless pullover knitted from bottom up with raglan sleeves and a rhombus pattern on the front. It is not identical to the one pictured in the TV series but is very similar to it. I made some changes to Francesca Caricato's pattern in the proportions of the piece to fit my husband and also in the construction of the neck and the raglan shaping. I used Plymouth Yarn Encore, which was a gift from a friend of a friend, who gave up knitting. It is a worsted-weight machine-washable acrylic and wool blend, perfect for my husband, who prefers easy-care clothing. The color of the yarn is called Cranberry Mix; however, I think it looks more like maroon. I really enjoyed knitting this sweater. It fits my husband perfectly and he could barely wait to wear it. He is a Star Trek fan after all.

Thank you! The pattern is available for free at the link above. It was written by Francesca Caricato. I only made some changes to it in shaping and construction of the sweater.
