Happy Easter!

I wanted to knit something cute for my kids for Easter. I have never made a stuffy or toy before and the pattern for the Mini Reversible Duck to Bunny by Susan B. Anderson seemed easy enough to complete in a day or two. Especially, since I had to make two, one for each of my kids. Also, I love the 2-in-1 design of this pattern. Although the instructions were very easy to follow, working with such a small number of stitches on a large circular needle was initially challenging for me. I used DK weight scrap yarn from my stash with 3.5 mm needles. The fuzzy grey yarn seemed perfect for the bunny. I chose purple for the duck, instead of yellow, and made its beak red and a little narrower than in the pattern, as I wanted it to look more like an Easter chick than a duck. I am pleased with how these turned out and my kids love them, too. I hope you all have a hoppy Easter! I am sending all my favorite peeps ‘eggstra’ love today!
