I finished the purple sweater with the yolk from
Tornade by DROPS Design using DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk. It was an easy knit and the yarn was a pleasure to work with. I love how it turned out. I initially intended the neck to be folded down but like it much more unfolded and letting it casually drape down. However, I may wear it both ways.

I also love the garter-stitch detail in the yolk, cuffs, and hem. It looks very simple, yet elegant. Also, have I mentioned how super soft and light this sweater feels? It weights less than 5 ounces and feels like a cloud. Plus it is very warm. I can barely wait to wear it.
